If you are ever in Wisconsin and want a fabulous venue to do a little gaming you should go see the Majestic Pines Casino. This is for any class that can charm a mob! COERCERS!

Ok, just to clear this up, this is not a duplicate post… rather an exploit that sony believed they had fixed but I found away around it!

Yes, Sony did Nerf this exploit. But not really…. I have a tactic that I tried out as I became frustrated when I realized that this was nerfed in LU24. Here it goes:

The old exploit explained that if you did a little damage to a mob and charmed it, you could send it into attack, let it get killed and you would get xp from your pet dieing, and then all you would have to do is charm the mob your pet died attacking. Then just repeat and re-use. Well… not anymore unfortunately, which I found dissapointing, but that is not the case… I figured out a way to get the same amount of xp as before but its a little bit more complex than before.

Welcome to Qeynos!

So you’ve hit the shores of Qeynos, and guess what? You’re still a refugee! But no worries, this tutorial will walk you through, step by step, what it takes to become a citizen in the supposedly glorious city of Qeynos. Why do I say “supposedly” glorious? If you’re like me, you’ll find the vast majority of the people overbearingly friendly to the point of driving you insane. I guess for this reason, my main character resides in Freeport.

Once inside the Inn, you will be greeted by quite possibly the most frustrating MMOG character ever to curse a computer screen. The doltish Innkeeper of Qeynos. Luckily, and unluckily…..you have no reason to speak to him at this point. His main purpose at this point in the game is merely to sell you poorly made furniture for your new room. However, if being a pushy furniture salesman isn’t enough, the guy has a serious addiction to sweets. I’m not talking about heading out to the local Qeynos 7-11 to pick up a Peanut Butter Cup, this guy needs to be institutionalized. Apparently his wife is no longer around and he desires nothing more than some sweets which he shouts about incessantly, NON STOP. Hey, I dig on sweets…….but this guy’s irritating voice combined with the fact he continuously screams he “needs him some crunchies” (apparently a synonym for sweets in Qeynos) can literally drive one straight back on the boat to Freeport, or if permitted straight over the counter with sword drawn. I promised myself, as soon as I acquired Qeynosian citizenship the first quest I would complete would be for the Innkeeper and locate some damn “crunchies” for him…….just to shut the fool up.

For this reason all the other races can easily convince the race to head into the battle head first, without thinking of the physical ramifications. I’ve just finished a new character to 60, a Rogue, and i chose to go through the game only doing instance quests and the ones at the start to get to lvl 12 or so, and i grinded every single bit of XP apart from that to reach 60, and in this process i have found so many great grinding spots and money spots i couldn’t believe it and ended up reaching lvl 60 with 1100g and all my items up to date, and since these kinda posts have dried up on the site a bit i thought i would make one. So I’ll try and remember all of them that i can, if i forget any and remember ill post em up later, enjoy.

Money / Xp Grinding Spots ::

Salt Flats - 7 / 10
If you are lvl 30 - 36 you can goto the salt flats, i would recommend a bit higher then lvl 30 if you want to grind but, because you will have to rest after every fight and cant grind very efficiently, i went at lvl 32. The Salt flats have a wide range of beats including Turtles, Basilisks, Vultures and Scorpions. These mobs are all good for xp, as they are around the lvl range i said before, but they drop heaps of random bits and pieces, like shells, wings, bones, scales, claws etc. These parts all stack in lots of 5 or 10, and there are loads of them down there so you can build up a fair bit quite quickly, and this stuff really adds up when u go to sell it at a vendor, i had no trouble making up around 10g after a few hours, and heaps of xp to. 10g might not sound much to higher lvls but makes mount money a lot faster to get.

This paragraph is the exact same text for all my solo and group PvE templates, so after you read this once you can just skip it for other classes. These are my templates for what I consider the best viable templates for PvE purposes ONLY. A solo template is assuming that you never plan on grouping. A group template assumes that you are in a group 100% of the time, such as end game instances. I have also been asked to provide info on what skills should be taken at which levels, this is really difficult as it would depend on exact individual play styles. However, I put a number in parenthesis before each skill, this number is the level that I would take the skill at, of course this is extremely prejudiced because it is based on my own play style. First thing is first, when you create your new elven character, you’ll want to talk with one of the Mothr Temps to get the first quest for a map. This quest is simple, and involves killing 4 keltirs. These are generally found right outside of where you start and should be fairly simple. Keep killing these until you hit level 4, and then Give the 4 fangs to one of the Mother Temps. They will give you a Leaf Of The Mothertree. Give this leaf to Nerupa, she is right there as well. After this you have a couple of choices.

First choice would be to talk to the grandmaster (Looks like she has a big butterfly or something coming out of her back), and she will have a few smaller quests for you which will net you some quick XP, and Adena, and involves running things from one NPC to another.

Do the first quest immediatly and start leveling right outside your city walls, venture further away from the city (the opposite direction of your starting temple).

Fight things that you kill easily and have little to no down time. Get quests to kill certain mobs and stick with them. No need to kill anything else since you won’t get a reward for that.

Get a bow, pull and fire 2-3 arrows, then pull out your melee gear and start swinging. When the creature is low on hp hit it with a special attack (have to be lvl 5) You will Over-Hit and get more xp than normal.

When your lvl 5 talk to the trainer and leave the training window open (thanks to DragonX7 for this tip) It will save you time instead of running back and forth.

Welcome to the world of Aden. I will be your guide through your travel from level one to twenty. I will help you to become the strongest Orc Mage in Aden by helping you find key quests, shops, and leveling spots. First you should go through the short but very important guide at the beginning of your adventurer. Now go, be guided, quickly beefy green one.

Back? Great, let’s get you started on the road to twenty. First off equip your rod and armor by hitting tab and right clicking on the armor and rod in there. Next go to the bottom right hand of your screen and click on the first button to the left. Go to the actions button under there and put attack, sit and pick up items and heal in your hot bar too the right of your screen. Place them in the following order:

• 1. Attack
• 2. Sit
• 3. Pick up items

To use those just hit the corresponding F key, for attack F1, sit F2 and so on as you get more spells and what not.

Ok most every player should know by now about the felwood foods. Whipper root tubers,night dragons breath, windblossom etc.
They are very handy in pvp and pve as the whippers and night dragons are on seperate timers from regular healing potions so basically u can heal yourself for 1750(major healing)+900(whipper)+450(night) for a whopping total of 3100 health. they are also only on 2 minute cooldown.The best part is they are free!

Well i found that if u find a plant with the food in it, u open the the dialogue box(after cleansing it if needed), zoom in so there is minimal distance between the message u click on and the plant. left click the message to get the food as normal, then quickly right click the plant again. about 50-75% of the time if u did it fast enough another dialogue box will appear and u can do it again and get double food.

Okay let me tell you the low down on hunter builds for PVE strictly talking about solo build here.
I have tried marskmen build which is by far the most popular but from my past experiences with my hunter I started as best spec cause I was a dwarf and it wasnt popular this is before the big skill tree change. Now I noticed my pet cant hold agro from me I do have a blue rifle and crit good amount sure the numbers are nice but sometimes you get ganked by some gay spider walking by ect..
With markman shipbuild its hard to survive a fight with a creature 3-4 lvls above you if another one adds. But with beast build its pretty easy target the add tell beast to attack it do that until it has agro switch it back to orginal target start firing away. Also at early level hunter its okay to melee heck even 30+ you still melee sometimes your pet should hold agro even with a blue 2 handed weapon on. The most creatures I survived at once was about 4 wolf when I was lvling around darkshores that was all at once than shortly after I had 2 more attack thankfully not all at once but my dear fullfy nearly was dead take off taunt and use distracting shot and tank if you have life or potions if not use wing clip followed by dazing shot run short distance away channel as much mend as you can to your pet have him taunt again and keep tring to heal him.

iii. A safe spot to fish, also hidden. This helps when your either on a PVP server, or if you just flat out don’t want to be seen when using the Fishing Bot.

Strategy:
The idea here is to take on as many griffons as possible, and killing them as fast as possible. The most I’ve been able to take on at once without dying is 6, but it’s tricky. 5 should be no problem if you pay careful attention to your healthbar. I also use a sword that lengthens bleeding duration, this takes my attention away from griffons that are close to dying (say 25% of health to go), since I know that they will bleed for 30+ seconds after a single strike.

Guide to Understanding Rares and Runes

Introduction
There seems to be much misunderstanding about how Runes and whats Rare and whats not. I have put together a little guide of what I have discovered through playing the game and researching.

One thing that I have noticed that seems to help boost the drop rate of Rare items, is doing Missions Solo. It is argued that a party of all Players has the same chance as a party of one. But, after much testing, I disagree. I went with Drake hunting parties probably 10 times before I could solo them, this being before the Loot Balancing Update, and found maybe one Gold item and one to two Purple items per trip. Keep in mind, this was split between the party, not reserved just for me. Going Solo, before and after the Loot Balancing Update, I found two to three Gold items pre LBU and I find one to two Gold iems post LBU. Almost every Drake drops a Purple Rare if it fails to drop a Gold.
