Growing up, I had no experience at all about Horse Racing. My dad didn’t drink, he never bet, and he usually went to bed early, no bad habits.

Needless to say, horse betting was out of his experience, and he wouldn’t have approved of me if he knew that I was interested in backing horses to win some easy money. I wasn’t that interested in horse racing at first. Watching horse races on TV kind of bored me, and I usually would change the channel.

To tell you the truth, I came across Horse Racing as an online game. To my surprise, I found this form of horse racing was actually exciting. It was nothing like I imagined it would be.

I became very interested in it anyway. I had also been learning about horse race handicapping, as well as betting systems. I had always had a passion for maths, and I was intrigued by the possibility of winning using a system.

My first few forays into online gambling did not go exactly as planned. As of this writing, Wrath of The Lich King (the new World of Warcraft expansion) is coming on Nov 13 and with that expansion comes new talents, a whole new class, a new profession, 10 new levels, and a whole new continent to explore, not to mention the threat posed by the Lich King Himself.

The new profession being introduced, actually with the 3.0 patch of a couple weeks ago, is Inscription. This is a very cool skill that’s quick and easy to level (especially compared to the other crafting professions) and provides minor, permanent buffs to your character.

Fueling the Inscription profession is the Herbalism profession. Inscription uses herbs, and lots of them, to make the required inks.
