One of the best things about my sales job is that I’m always on the move. I just got my rogue to lvl 60 and I decided to make a priest (Very high demand on my server). And when I got to lvl 35 I looked at my time spent ( /played) it was only 4 days. So I thought I would share this with you.

*1 - 10 Starting area (ex. Darnassus, Elywnn)
*10 - 18 Westfall (Grinding - questing) Deadmines once for loot
18 -20 Wetlands (Grinding - few quests)
20 - 25 Duskwood (Darkened Bank)
25 - 30 Duskwood (Raven Hill skeletons)
30 - 35 Alterac Mountains (Dalaran - Turtles)
35 - 40 Theramore (Turtles)

This guide has a lot of turtle killing, only because I found that fast-easy to kill, plus they dont do alot of damage. Im sure alot of people already use this or somthing similar. But its just another way to get up those beging lvl’s fast.

There is a nice mob in eversong woods (just south of silvermoon city) for when you need to lvl up a new weapon, like when you’re lvl 20. Useful for BE paladins especially for when you get your new polearm. Basically, it’s a lvl 6 Plaguebone Pillager that has an instant respawn. You just stand in one spot and repeatedly right click until your weapon is at the skill lvl you want. He wanders so you might have to kill a few to figure out which one it is, but his respawn point is 50,57 in the middle of the dead scar. When you’re in the right spot you’ll be standing just south of a little busted up cart. Useful more for lower lvls, not sure how weapon skill-ups work for higher lvls, I’m guessing you would need a higher lvl mob to do this on.

The game of chess is divided into three parts—the opening, the middle game and the endgame. The divisions are purely arbitrary, merely for the purpose of facilitating study. Ultimate Goal vs. Opening Goal

In order to understand the mechanics of the opening, it is necessary to know the opening goal. While checkmate is the principal goal of the game, it is subordinated in the opening, since the pieces are just beginning to get out. Of course, if the opponent plays very badly, or exposes his King critically or neglects his development glaringly, then checkmating ideas come to the forefront. With reasonably correct play by both contestants, lesser objectives are the goal. These all tie in with the prime purpose—checkmate of the opponent’s King. Checkmate is the ultimate goal.

The first big step—an enormous step—in improving our play is to become aware of the things we do wrong, the bad moves we make. Many of us could never reach that point without personal lessons because we could not previously find in books the kind of material that would enable us to spot our own weaknesses.

That is a pity, for while chess is a lot of fun, win or lose, it’s more fun when you win! In my contacts with thousands of chessplayers for over twenty years, I have often watched them grope and drift and become discouraged in their efforts to improve their game.

It was from these observations that the notion of concentrating on the Eight Bad Moves took shape. Again and again I have seen, in the course of teaching and playing and discussing, that most players commit certain typical errors.

Not many people realize the huge gaps in between prices different NPCs will offer you. I came across a blatant example this evening.

I had looted a medium level sword from a mob in the Commonlands, and when back in town went to sell it to an NPC (seeing as though I am a Mage). The Arms Dealer in town offered me 1.2s, while the shield smith offered me 2.6s!

So you get the point, don’t sell your goods to the first NPC you come across. Make your way to the market area and check with all the NPCs for the highest price. The price discrepencies are huge, so it’s well worth your time.

This is for any class that can charm a mob! COERCERS!

Ok, just to clear this up, this is not a duplicate post… rather an exploit that sony believed they had fixed but I found away around it!

Yes, Sony did Nerf this exploit. But not really…. I have a tactic that I tried out as I became frustrated when I realized that this was nerfed in LU24. Here it goes:

The old exploit explained that if you did a little damage to a mob and charmed it, you could send it into attack, let it get killed and you would get xp from your pet dieing, and then all you would have to do is charm the mob your pet died attacking. Then just repeat and re-use. Well… not anymore unfortunately, which I found dissapointing, but that is not the case… I figured out a way to get the same amount of xp as before but its a little bit more complex than before.

I’m a level 14 Scholar and made a fair amount of money in crafting, so I disagree when people say you cannot make money doing low level crafts.
Other threads already touched on the basics on how to craft, so I won’t repeat them, just remember to get all of your gathering/mining/foresting skills HIGH HIGH HIGH.

So here is how it goes.

At level 1-10, the best thing for you to do is to grind through the level quickly, pretty much nothing other than 6 slot bags (which is prestine condition and quite difficult for a low level artisan to do) can make you any money, however, it is very easy to break at least even.

1-3 craft all of your raw resources, tin, roots, lead, malachite, after you are done with these, don’t waste your time to gather more.

Ok, time for a bit of How-To about Conjurer’s and partly also about summoners since I have only just started on conjurer.

Alot of this is gathered from forums and testet on own char.

First I will list the Bread and Butter spells of Conjurer’s up until lvl 30.

From 1 to 9 as a mage these will be what you will use most and their uses.

Lightning Burst - Your bread and butter damage spell for the first 13 levels, your ONLY DD so I suggest upgrading it to Appr3 as soon as you can, fast cast and used in 80% of your solo HO’s

Static Pulse - Your first DOT and also a magic debuff, it’s a GREAT puller spell since it has very fast cast/recast, does relativ low starting damage and debuff’s target for further spells/dot’s

Here’s a quick couple pieces of info that i’ve used to craft pristine armor 100% of the time, even armor that cons yellow 2 levels higher than me.

1. Use only durability buffs. Spam them from the beginning. For armor its easiest to spam the one that raises durability a great amount while reducing success chance a little. This way I don’t burn through my power bar during the craft.

2. Get into a rhythm. You wanna be hitting a buff every tick. But you also wanna be hitting it just before a the chance reactions pop up for you to counter. If you can get it timed to where you’re hitting the buff 2 seconds before one of the reactions come up it will give you plenty of time to react properly and not screw up your rhythm.

Your attractiveness depends on what race you are, and if you’re male or female. Here’s a low-down on how attractive your WoW character will be when he or she is actually naked. Alliance Night Elves Hands down, the most attractive race of the Alliance, the Night Elves look great both clothed and naked. There’s not too much to say about the naked male Night Elf, but the female has a slightly off body shape, and the ribs protruding not only don’t fit with the stomach, but give the torso an awkward look. Still, you have to admit, the Night Elves can really get their dance on.

With The Burning Crusade less then 2 months away and beta characters capped out, we have a pretty good idea of what it will take to get to level 70. Along with the level cap raised, all primary and secondary skills have had thier caps raised to 375 and a new profession, jewelcrafting, has been introduced. Lets not forget FLYING MOUNTS!!! All this costs money. Money that I plan on extracting from the masses, and you can too.

All this new content presents challenges from a trade skill stand point and will leave a sizable void in the market for supplies that are needed to skill up professions. This guide is based on my personal experience in TBC beta but still holds a signifcant amount on risk since we won’t know what will happen on live. The good part is, most of these items won’t cost you anything but the time it takes to collect them and the bag space to store them till the time is right.

I recently started a new char just for fun and wanted that char as high as possible. I was just planning to use it for artisian spell making although i found the char to be much more usefull. Anyway here it goes:

Starting on the isle of refuge you can go 2 different ways, i chose to do the long way for the better benefits but if leveling is all you want then do only the fighting part. I got all my mining/foresting/gathering to 30+, which I think will be very important later on. I noticed there is lots of people on the isle’s doing the same thing. But the trick is learning the spawn spots. Once you have those down you go gather and mine everything you can in those spots. Then you can go to the mariners bell and travel to other isle’s 1-7 i think, So clean up on 1, then goto 2 and so on. You will hit 30+ in your skills in no time. You also may want to bring your artisian to level 5 while your there, and i think theres a quest for a 10 slot bag.

This relies on two different things. Unfortunately either or both of these are likely to be changed in the big craft patch. I think this has been delayed to after Christmas, so you have another week.

1) Alchemists are easy, fairly fast, and cheap to macro.
2) High NPC buy-back rates on some products

I’m doing this at tier 4 (level 30+) . It works to a lesser extent at lower levels but isn’t as profitable.

What you need to do is stock up on some tier 4 harvestables. These are not used in many other recipies and not in high demand so you can get them fairly cheap. I rarely pay over 1sp for them but will happily go up to 2 or 3.

There is one way of making money (sliver) pretty quick that I know of when you are still on the isle of refuge. Here it goes:

1) Level up to 6 and keep going til you cap out at 220%. This will still raise your skills a little I think but when you become a citizan wherever you go, it wil jump you up to level 8. And it is so easy.
2) Kill the goblins that drop the 6 slot bags (Siege Planner and I forget the name of the other one, but they are both in the same general area where the brutes are) and sell them for about 3 silver.

Dice were probably evolved from knucklebones, and knucklebones from odd-shaped pebbles. The word “probably” is used because those small cubes of bone, ivory, wood or plastic have a contradictory, but romantic, history. We’ll touch upon some of it here for the sake of the curious.

One thing seems certain, knucklebones or dice go back nearly to the creation of man. And wherever dice have been found, whether in the- tombs of ancient Egypt, of classic Greece, or of the far East, they differ in no material respect from those in use today. Of course, they were not always simple spotted cubes. Some were elongated or octagonal or with as many as fourteen flat surfaces. But all the surfaces had their different values and were counted, like dice.

It is almost impossible to trace clearly the development of dice as distinguished from knucklebones. In the beginning, dice had anywhere from six to twenty flat sides of different values, and knucklebones had only four. Ancient writers confused the two games, and rarely agreed on the origin of either. It is certain, however, that both were played in times before written records were kept.

Sophocles tells us that a Greek invented the game of dice, and taught it to his countrymen during the seige of Troy. Herodotus, the so-called “Father of History,” says the Lydians invented knucklebones, dice and all other games except chess. Then, too, dicing is credited with being an old Indian game.

They added some new writ givers to the game for higher levels — I’m not sure what level you need to be to start using these. They are all pretty close to the original writ givers. You can actually get quests from the original writ givers to find the new ones, a quick way to get 4 more completed quests!

Ok time to make some nice money and fairly well exp. Go to the zek docks and talk to shadow to get the operation greenhood quest, then further in the lookout post area there was some barbarian dude, his name escapes me but he is behind a table in front of a large wall. Anyways he gives you a quest accept it, now you must kill orcs of a certan type; the type is random now for operation greenhood. We all have a TON of collection quest in our Journals. I made it a point to complete one. Collect all the bones from a certain race and return to Mervos in North Qeynos. You are rewarded with some xp and a Petrified Eye from whatever race you completed. If you check alot of other sites they will label the 7C eye as junk. That is not so. It is a little known fact that when placed in an “activatable” slot or and your hotbar that you can cast a spell that makes you appear as that race. Your only requirement is that you have an extra bone from that race in your inventory. Unconfirmed that it can remain in the bank.

I collected Ogre bones. bought some for about 8S total and a friend gave me the last one. Now I can prance around Qeynos, not as my Erudite but as a BIG UGLY OGRE!!!! The spell last six hours or until you zone. I take of my mage robe so I look more Ogreish!
