Laptop Batteries on a Road Trip
This is going to sound a little nuts, but I decided to bring my laptop on my annual motorcycle road trip. I usually bring a notepad and a couple pens, but the last time I blew a tire and had to hang out in the middle of Podunk nowhere for a while. I had to make sure I got a waterproof case for it and a couple of laptop batteries. The batteries were pretty easy to find and cheap, too, but the waterproof case was a bit harder. Most of the ones I found were pretty big and bulky. I finally decided just to wrap it in a piece of tarp. Worked out fine, but I’m not sure I’ll deal with the hassle of bringing it again, especially since there was no flat tire on this trip.
