Did you know poker tournaments are really amazing? Sitting observing a high stakes poker tournament is definitely one of the most thrilling things, I have ever been privileged to watch. People that have never played poker, have never been interested in poker and even others who have never heard of Texas hold ‘em can observe the World Series of Poker with enraptured attention. Of course it begins with the high stakes involved in the game but it runs a good deal deeper than that. It has to do with the suspense, the tension, and the delayed slow pace of the poker game and the fact that everything and I mean everything rides on that very last card.
