One of the best things about my sales job is that I’m always on the move. I’m either meeting with existing clients, prospecting potential buyers, or visiting suppliers to make sure that my customers get the products that they need. Because of all this movement, I need to be completely organized otherwise I run the risk of missing an important appointment. I also need a reliable way for people to get in touch with me when I’m on the road. I used to have to carry several different devices, including a pocket PC, mobile telephone, and beeper, but that wasn’t very convenient at all.
