Crossword Puzzles are Fun, Educational and Challenging
Personally, I prefer books and games such as crossword puzzles over television for my entertainment. Passively sitting in front of the television seems to stifle my creativity. These forms of entertainment are portable, too.
Typically, crossword puzzle magazines come in a handy 5 x 8 inch format, so they’re easy to carry around. You can get them in other formats, too, but the 5 x 8 inch size is a popular one. They are an entertaining diversion for long commutes to work or having to sit around in a waiting room. Better yet, if you’re in bed with a cold, crossword puzzle magazines offer a nice, quiet diversion to take your mind off of how miserable you feel.
